WiFi: Drinko Library Wireless Outage - slone22

The controller servicing access points in Drinko Library had an unplanned reload. This caused about a 5 minute outage while access points reverted to an older code version and join another controller. The root cause is still under investigation.

Impact: Wireless Access

Affected Applications: All wireless connectivity in Drinko Library.

Impact: A limited number of wireless access points enterprise wide.

WiFi: Wireless Authentications - slone22

Wireless authentications were impacted by a misconfigurations to radius servers that caused a match of an incorrect rule resulting in the wrong authorization profile being delivered to clients. This was identified and corrected. All authentications began to process as normal by 10:45am.

Impact: Wireless authentication.

Affected Applications: Wireless access.

WiFi: Eduroam Authentication Failures - slone22

Users at peering sites (other Universities) reported being unable to authenticate using Marshall credentials. Eduroam is moving to new top level radius servers. Old servers had to be allowed once again while migration is taking place.

Troubleshooting a potential DHCP server issue with ITIC. We needed to check the database for corruption which required the primary DHCP server to be brought offline. SVIs for the wireless scopes did not have the failover DHCP server configured.

Impact: Wireless clients were unable to obtain IP addresses
