When the Exchange servers were brought back up after network maintenance, all the required services didn't start properly and the Systems group was unable to move databases between servers. Additionally, we weren't able to stabilize the environment. We have opened a case with Microsoft to assist.

Impact: All on-prem Exchange Mail users

Affected Applications: Exchange email

Exchange is currently operating as expected. The issue has been resolved.

The Exchange servers that were offline during the switch replacement caused a quorum to not be reached with the rest of the cluster members. After engaging Microsoft support it was determined that a rolling reboot of the entire Exchange environment was required. EXCH08 was identified to be having slow response times so we have isolated that server from the cluster for the time being. We will continue to moving over the next 24 hours.
