Update: The ITI Systems team has reconfigured the outbound Exchange send connector to direct all outbound email through the Barracuda Essentials cloud appliance for scanning. Please report any issues with mail flow to the Service desk. Impact: All outbound email Affected Applications: Exchange

Purpose: We will be changing our on-premises email routing to send all exchange outbound email through our Barracuda Essentials service for filtering and protection at 3PM today (6/20/2019). The notable difference in this email routing is that there will be an outbound email rate limit of 150 emails per user per 30 minute period. Any group of emails sent that go over this limit will have the overflow of messages deferred for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes the remaining emails will start processing again, repeating this cycle until all messages are processed. Note that this will only apply to emails going outside the organization.
